French Artist Turned Everyday Objects Into Imaginative Characters
Creative individuals can frequently see faces, structures and characters in arbitrary ordinary items, and it is fun when artists bring these characters to life in their own unique ways. French artist and sculptor Gilbert Legrand doesn't just see these characters, but helps others see them too. He takes regular items like scissors, brushes, zippers, or cutlery and transforms them into imaginative character figures.
Gilbert was born in Paris and presently working as a freelance illustrator in Toulouse. He has been making these creative sculptures as his side interest for past 10 years. Gilbert frequently exhibits his work in art centres all across France. If you visit there, you might spot more than a few of his creations. See Similar work from Javier Pérez
